Weight Loss Secrets & How To Burn Fat EffortlesslyHello and welcome to our website. On this page we will reveal many of the weight loss secrets which have been known to human kind for thousands of years. Even if you don't feel like you need to lose weight, it's highly likely you've been exposed to some crazy ideas on how to do it: "Eat anything you want and lose the weight!" But these wild and crazy claims are totally rejected by anyone who's tried to lose even a few pounds. Losing the folds ain't that simple. Just face it. Don't put your faith in a pill, it rarely happens in twenty days, and everyone's weight loss is individual; something we can see reflected in the endless weight loss plans out there. There is no one size fits all. When we try to look past the unrealistic but often convincing claims, there are some principal fundamentals the bloated diet industry (excuse the pun!) simply will never own up to even recognising their existence. These truths could just help you approach your weight issues more realistically and in a more self-empowered way. This will lead to sustained weight loss. Let's talk about working that booty! ... Tip #1 : double up on recommended exercise levels. Most of the advice you will find recommends getting at least 30 minutes of moderate exercise every day. This includes brisk walking and things like gardening. While this is great for keeping your heart healthy and upping your general fitness level, recent research suggests that if you're trying to lose weight or simply maintain your weight loss you should do twice the amount of recommended exercise. People who have doubled up on the recommended exercise levels do indeed see sustained weight loss. Exercise for about an hour every day and you will be good to go. Many studies published in medical journals support these observations. In one study 200 obese and overweight females were put on a specific exercise program and diet and their progress was followed for a couple of years. Some women successfully kept the weight off for over two years as opposed to the rest of the group who put the weight back on. The difference? The women who kept the weight off were exercising for nearly an hour at least five days a week. So, the long and short of it is simply walking to the store or doing a bit of gardening are well worth doing but will not necessarily help you lose weight. If you're serious about losing weight you must exercise regularly for at least an hour every day. Before you get too despondent, this doesn't mean you need to buy a new pair of running shoes or taking up tennis. One of the best exercises you can do is just to go for a nice long walk. Tip #2 : stop equating levels of exercise to specific foodstuffs. You've probably seen the TV programmes where the producers get a bunch of overweight ladies together and get them exercising. At the end of the exercise session they are then told that they can happily go and eat a couple of slices of pizza because they have just burnt off the appropriate amount of calories. Don't fall into this trap! It's very easy and tempting to underestimate the calorific value of the food you eat and on the flipside of the coin it's also very easy to overestimate the number of calories we burn up when we exercise. These two facts combined provide you with a double whammy of self deceit! Even if you exercise regularly this doesn't mean you can go and eat anything you want and expect to lose weight. You are barking up the wrong tree if you approach your weight loss in this fashion. The only way to lose the weight and keep it off effectively is to reduce the calorific intake and increase your exercise levels. Tip #3 : know that you always have time to exercise. So, you have the time to surf the Internet, go clothes shopping, watch your favourite TV programmes, go out for dinner etc etc but when it comes to exercise you tell yourself you simply don't have the time. What a load of baloney! If you have the time to do those things then you have time to exercise. Of course you may have two cutout one or two of your other activities but that is what it takes for you to get your exercise levels up to par. If you want to lose your weight enough then you will sacrifice some of your leisure time to do your exercise. The benefits you get from pursuing an active exercise regime will be well worth it. Tip #4 : don't believe the claims that eating more of something can help you lose weight. The food and diet industry are always looking for an angle in order to market their products to you. There is research hitting the public domain almost daily with some new amazing claim that eating more of a certain foodstuff can actually reduce your waistline. Again this is utter hogwash! There was a story recently in the news reporting on some scientific report claiming that eating more dairy products could help you lose weight. Of course the diet industry latched onto this big time. Other studies have shown in clinical trials that people lost no more weight than they would have done normally by taking calcium supplements and ingesting extra dairy products. In fact this whole concept of eating more of a certain type of food for weight loss should be completely erased from your consciousness. We are bombarded with this type of marketing every day on the TV and in the supermarket aisles. Everything seems to have a low-fat version these days. Just remember the idea that we can eat more and lose weight is in direct contradiction to the basic premise behind losing weight. In order to lose weight we need to eat less food. Don't believe the hype! More coming soon ... |
